"The Living Treasures of France" at Tokyo National Museum

Last weekend I went to the exhibition "The Living Treasures of France" which held at Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park.
That day was a sunny day, so I enjoy taking photos there before visit the museum.
In "The Living Treasures of France," you can see the crafts of 13 people and those who are not qualified yet make splendid works.
Here are some impressive artists: First, Leatherwork of Serge Amoruso. The handbag named "King of Khufu" is a simple but sophisticated shape and material. Automatically I wanted to have it.
Second, articles of a tortoise shell of Christian Bonnet. I could see copies of Jacqueline Kennedy and Le Corbusier's glasses which made by a tortoiseshell. I didn't expect to see the historical person's item. It was interesting.
Most impressive works are of Nelly Saunier's Feather Art. She made arts by a feather. It is big flower shape or dragon or abstract ball. Every art is elegant and outstanding! I was moved. She is very popular in fashion brand. For example GIVENCHY, JEAN PAUL GAULTIER.

In the exhibition, All of the displays and lights are wedded. But some rooms were a little bit dark and lights were blinking slowly. I wanted to see the works in lighter and calmer room.

But I'm satisfied to see great articles. If you like to see beautiful and artistic crafts, you can enjoy this exhibition.

This exhibition will take place till Nov. 26th.

This exhibition is taking place at "Hyōkeikan" of Tokyo National Museum. This architecture was built in commemoration of Emperor Taishō's wedding. It's a wonderful architecture. I love it.
Autumn Ueno Park is so beautiful. In holiday, there are a lot of people. But I recommend to hang around there.
