Chocolate Shop "Minimal" at Tomigaya, Shibuya, Tokyo

Here comes winter in Japan. I think that chocolates are perfect for winter season.  But which chocolate shop is the best place to go? There is the area called "Oku-Shibuya" in the back of Shibuya. You can go there and you will reach the area called "Tomigaya" where you can find the independent chocolate shop called "Minimal".

Minimal's chocolate is minimal as it named. No additives, no aroma chemical. Usually, you can choose 6 or 7 stuff in the shop. Minimum price is about 1,000 yen(about 8.8 dollar) per pack. You may think it's costly but trust me it is worth the price.
They have various flavors of chocolate that you can choose from. My favorite is "Savory". This flavor is like a mint. And cacao's texture is rough. As we bite it, we can feel it grittily in our mouth and the feeling is very lovely. My second much loved chocolate is "Fruity Berry-Like". It tastes like a berry as you expect. Its taste is very fresh. Both of them are so yummy. I'm into them.
The Shop provides free taste. So you can try some of the flavors before buying them. And you can even buy a hot chocolate drink there as well.

Recently, there are a lot of special chocolate shops in Tokyo. For example "Dandelion Chocolate" in Kuramae, "Green Bean to Bar Chocolate" in Nakameguro. I'v actually never been to this places, so I wish to visit them someday.

In order for you to reach Minimal in Tomigaya from Shibuya. First, you go straight to Yoyogi-Koen station. This Kamiya street is located beside Tokyu Honten. The area around the Kamiya street is "Oku-Shibuya". You can see some nice shop along the streets in which you can drop by, like "Shibuya Publishing and Booksellers", and  "Archivand" which is a fashionable general store. At the end of the street, you will see Inogashira Street, the landmark is Taiwanese cuisine restaurant named "Reikyo".(Reikyo is a very nice restaurant and their foods are very delicious.) Next, turn left at Inogashira Street, you can see a bridge for pedestrians soon. After crossing the bridge, turn left, and you will find Minimal. It takes about 20 minutes from Oku-Shibuya to Minimal.

After visiting the shop, you can have a dinner in this area. One of my most recommended restaurants is Portuguese cuisine named "Cristiano's". This is a bit complicated to find. But if you really wanted to go there, you need more effort and also you can use Google Map in order for you not to get lost.

Minimal has branchs too. They are located in Ginza, Shirokane-Takanawa, Tobu-Ikebukuro.
